Once a seller has accepted an offer and entered into a contract with a buyer, they cannot simply accept another offer from a different buyer. There are a few exceptions or conditions where a seller might be able to accept another offer:
🔸 Contingencies: If specified contract conditions aren’t met, the deal may be voided, allowing the seller to accept another offer.
🔸 Backup Offers: Sellers can accept backup offers that take effect if the primary deal fails.
🔸 Right of First Refusal (ROFR): In certain cases, a pre-designated party gets the chance to buy before other offers can be accepted.
