Price opinions are not appraisals

A price opinion from our team is a broker price opinion, also called a comparative market analysis, prepared by a licensed real estate agent from recent sales. It is not an appraisal, and no one on our team is acting as a licensed or certified appraiser. Lenders, courts and estates often require a formal appraisal.

Market numbers

Market figures on this site are medians for the period shown next to each figure, from the sources named on the page: ROAM MLS closed sales, Redfin housing market data, U.S. Census Bureau estimates, and parish and federal agencies. They describe an area, not your home. They are believed to be reliable but are not guaranteed.

Where a page uses ROAM MLS figures, it carries this notice for the period used, for example: Based on information from the ROAM MLS for the period 07/01/2026 through 09/30/2026.

Listings

Listing details come from the seller, public records and our own measurements. They are deemed reliable but not guaranteed, and buyers should verify everything that matters to them, including square footage, lot size, schools, taxes, flood zone and association rules. Square footage and acreage are approximate. Listings may sell, change price or be withdrawn without notice.

Using the site does not make us your agent

Sending a form, calling or reading this site does not create an agency relationship. In Louisiana, an agent represents you only under a signed written agreement. Until then, please don't share anything you would not want shared with the other side of a sale.

Referrals

If your property is outside the area we cover ourselves, we may introduce you to a licensed agent in that market. We may receive a referral fee from that agent's brokerage. It is paid out of their commission, not added to what you pay, and you are never obligated to work with the agent we introduce.
